Still chasing Waterfalls, I ventured out the next day to Orange County with a couple of friends.
We started hiking on the San Juan trail. The first waterfall we saw was San Juan falls. I didn't get a good picture of it.
We continued on our trek through the canyon. The streams were flowing and there was only two stream crossings.
The trail was in great shape and surprisingly, not muddy at all.
I was pleasantly surprised with the array of mushrooms I found along the trail. I saw quite a few new species.
Chiquito Falls was flowing quite nicely with a nice pool at the base.
We took our obligatory photos at the bottom of the falls then climbed to the top to eat our lunch.
We decided to do the loop and found more variety of mushrooms.
Overall it was a good day. This was the second to best area where I found the most mushrooms. The first being Eaton Canyon.
